If we were meeting for coffee today I'd want to meet at Oz Coffee down on Broadway. It is run by a lovely Aussie man and I can imagine that I am actually in Australia (instead of always living the perpetual dream of Australia). We'd sit beside the three side fireplace with our feet tucked up on the comfy chairs, drinking vanilla lattes and just catch up on everything going on.
If we were meeting for coffee today, I would tell you all about the One World One Heart blog hop that is going on and the necklace that I have made to give away to one lucky reader. I would tell you how I am hoping that this will help to get my blog out there to more readers - not that I write it in order to get readers but, have to admit, it is awfully nice to have a nice comment from someone every once in awhile.
I'd let you know all about the online course at Big Picture Classes that I have signed up for to work on my word of intent for 2011. Do you remember what my word is? No. That's okay. I haven't been remembering it enough either! That's why I joined the group online! My word is...move. I am looking forward to getting into some creative activities using my word. I might even have remembered to bring my junk mail journal with me and, if I did, I would show you the page I did yesterday for my word.
If we were meeting for coffee today, I would tell you about how I wish we could afford to get away this Spring Break. A trip anywhere would be so nice. I would tell you about how I am going to try to make the holiday feel like a staycation so that I am rested and rejuvenated before going back to work. I am going to use one of my pedicure gift certificates and give myself a home facial. I am hoping for nice weather so that I can go for long walks and get lots of fresh air.
If we were meeting for coffee today, I would tell you how glad I am that it is Tuesday because I have read all of my library books and am desperate for something new to read! I would tell you how I am going to go straight from coffee to the library and pick up at least 10 new novels. That might, just might, get me through the week!
And, if we were meeting for coffee today, I would want to know all about you, too. Are you taking any interesting classes? Planning to go away somewhere nice? Read any good books lately? What would you tell me if we were meeting for coffee today?
Hi and so nice to meet you. I would love to hear all about the topics you present in your post while enjoying coffee. I would tell you all about my current kitchen remodel project and many more ideas for treasures added to my etsy shoppe. I would also more then likely tell you about another snow storm on the way here in Texas. Very unusual for us and a cold season. We are so looking forward to Spring.
Thank you for stopping by and entering my giveaway. Good Luck and I hope you visit again soon.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs, Celestina Marie

If we were meeting for coffee, I wonder if it would be like we never left off? I would tell you about my kids. They are all so different. Mostly they get along and life is peaceful. You would tell me about your good egg and we could marvel at how our children can be so different from their parents (at least some of them.) We would talk about your Dad and how life is different. We would probably spend a lot of time talking about teaching. Wouldn't you love a cinnabon with that coffee?

Ooh, cinnabon! Now that brings back memories! I think it would be like we
had never been apart. Wish we could do it in person but will have to settle for
virtual coffee for the foreseeable future.

Oh, I dream of Oz and NZ. One day I will get to the other side of the world and until then I will shiver my way through the day. Thanks for the coffee! And it is nice to get a comment or two every now and then!
