A Goal for 2011

I have decided that 2011 is going to be the year of the UFO...and, no, I don't mean the kind pictured here. Although, there are days when getting away by leaving this planet altogether is very tempting....

No, it is going to be the year of the Unfinished Objects, otherwise known as all the half-finished (or is that half-started?) projects I have lying about the house. There is a bunch of fabric and clothing patterns that haven't been sewn up, cross stitches to finish, a couple of quilts that were started and then left and a bunch of things in my jewelry studio that are in progress.

I am going to go through the house and find 12 projects that need to be completed. Then I will make a list which I will post here. My plan is to complete one per month. If I get them done faster than that, great, but if I can do one per month I will be very happy and my house will have less clutter!

thanks. i am not off to a great start. it is february and i have not finished one project yet!!!! LOL i need to get pix up on the blog so that i have some accountability for what i say i am going to do.

I haven't finished any of my UFOs yet this year, but I did organize them if that counts! ;) I now have one of those under-the-bed size containers (see-through) and inside it I have clear bags of various sizes, each filled with a UFO and all of the parts, pieces and whatzits needed for that project. My space is cleaner, the UFOs are organized, handy and still out of the way so I can create new UFOs (oops, I mean completed art projects)!
