So, okay, the problem I had of having trouble deciding which picture to use each day when I was on vacation has turned into the opposite problem since I have been back at work. I am lucky if I remember that I have my camera with me and to take even one picture each day!
Obviously, this whole Project 365 takes some training of the brain to get into the habit of picture taking randomly throughout the day.
Also, all of my best intentions of getting on each day, downloading that day's photo and writing some scintillating prose to go with it has also fallen by the wayside. Obviously, whoever has done this project before did not have a teenage daughter who was a Facebook junkie or a husband who loves to play computer games.
So, here is my offering from Tuesday through Friday of this week.
Day 5 Bosley is better than any Gund could ever hope to be.
Day 6 Winter Sunrise
It was so stunningly beautiful and I know that this photo really does not do it justice. The morning was crisp, clear and filled with sunbeams bouncing off the trees and rooftops. It was one of those morning where you are just glad to be alive and healthy enough to be out walking and having the chance to appreciate Earth's beauty.
Day 7 The Three B's
These are a few of my favourite things: Bosley, books and my bed. Oh, I love my oh, so cozy and comfy bed. My husband puts heating pads into it before I climb in and it is so toasty warm and welcoming.
Day 8 Nature's Heart
Can you see the way the bark has peeled to reveal the heart? I walk by this tree each and every day on my way to school and I never noticed the heart before. This project is forcing me to pay attention to my surroundings more and then stop to document the marvels I find.
Now, if only I can remember to take the camera out and use it more often! I am tired of my photos being ones I took either first thing in the morning or late at night. I want to take time to smell the roses during the day, too. That is my goal for this week.
Cheers!
